Cafe Bob's, Bacolod City

I tried exploring the quiet city of Bacolod on my own after a very busy day at work. I am amazed how peaceful the city is and I am more astonished how delicious their food is. Talking about food, I can say that Bacolod City is one of the best places that I'd love to visit just to pig out and fill my hungry stomach.

As I was walking along the food capital of Bacolod City, Lacson Street, one establishment caught my attention because of its nice facade. It seems like a house that is very inviting and you will never feel intimidated to get inside. It's Cafe Bob's.

This establishment is not only a pastry shop but it is also a restaurant. The branch that they have in Lacson St. is a 2-storey building that can cater large group of people. When you get inside, it is very homy, decent and you can even host your own party because it is very spacious.

What was more exciting when I was already inside was their cakes and pastries calling out my name telling me to buy them. Everything is so tempting. If only I have enough resources to buy them all, I definitely would. Take a look at what they have...

Do you want to take a closer look of their mouthwatering cakes and pastries? Here...

Everything is sinfully delicious and the price is so affordable, swear! Of course, my hunt would never be complete without tasting, if not all, some of their bestsellers. Here's what I ordered:

Fettucini with ham and cream - Php150.00
This pasta made me say, "Oh my goodness!" because it is so delicious. the pasta is well-cooked, they were so generous with the ham serving plus the cream is oh so creamy that blended well with the whole dish. Perfectly paired with their oven-baked bread.

Java Cheesecake - Php71.00 per slice / Php660 per layer
This is one of the best cheesecakes I've tasted in Bacolod City. It is a perfect combination of dark chocolate and coffee in one sinful masterpiece. It is so soft and the flavor really explodes in your mouth.

Lemon Iced Tea - Php55.00
I couldn't say that this is the best iced tea but it tastes good compared to any other iced teas sold commercially in any restaurants. You can really taste the flavor of the tea and not the sugar.

My experience with Cafe Bob's was really worth it. But wait there's more, they are also selling gelato in different flavors. I must recommend the dark chocolate if you want to try it out. In fact, I already tried all of their flavors by asking some free taste or sample from the waitress and ended up not getting any flavor at all because I was already full. Old tactic but effective.

How I wish they will open a branch in Cebu City so that a lot of people will get to try their calkes and pastries. However,if you happen to visit the city of smiles, make sure to try this pastry shop and restaurant and don't forget to share your thoughts with me. If you've been here already, how was it?

Visit them now and share your thoughts with me.
