Bamboo Café, Dakak Park and Beach Resort, Dapitan City

Nothing beats a vacation on a white-sand beach with blue waters and good food as well. One of the perks of getting a package on a tour or vacation is either a buffet breakfast, lunch or dinner. For a foodie like me, I always get excited of what is to be served in every meal if they say all-you-can-eat. This is what I felt during our stay at Dakak Park and Beach Resort. Part of the package that we paid for was a buffet breakfast at the Bamboo Cafe.

After a night full of fun, celebration and partying, everyone's stomach was grumbling and we can't wait to take advantage of the free breakfast buffet. We woke up at around 7:00am since breakfast will be served at 6:30am to 9:00am. We hurriedly went to the venue with our meal stabs and we even cracked jokes like we are not going to stop eating unless the cafe will run out of food or the waiters will tell us to stop eating.

The venue is overlooking the entire beach which is so relaxing especially early in the morning and you are sipping a cup of coffee thinking of what happened last night. Hahaha...

The place is properly arranged especially the buffet tables where the food was well-placed. We were so amazed with the different kinds of food being served. Although it was more of a Filipino breakfast but then it was simply irresistable.

Bread, Butter and Jam Section

Chinese Dumplings Section

Fresh Fruits in Season Section

Fruit Juice and Milk Section

I, myself could not even figure out what to pick and eat first because there were a lot of choices being served but I started myself picking up something that I like to eat little by little so that I will have the chance to eat everything that was served. Hehehe...

Hot Bread Pudding with Butter and Crepe Suzette

Croissant with Orange Marmalade, Strawberry Jam and Butter

A combination of Koko Crunch Duo, Corn Flakes and Rice Crispies with Fresh Milk

Greens with French Dressing, Cheese, Salami and Ham

Pork Siomai

Scrambled Eggs with Cheese and Baked Potato Wedges

Hot Chocolate with Suman

Grilled Ham, Longganisa and Tocino

Fruits in Season (Watermelon and Papaya)

Mango Juice with Mashed Papaya and Watermelon

We finished eating after an hour and a half and as expected, we were so full like we can't move and breathe anymore. The food was so delicious and superb. That was truly a breakfast. One great way to start the activities waiting for us. Oops! Did I mention that at the back of Bamboo Cafe is one of the four swimming pools of the resort where you can relax and unwind after a heavy meal? This is one of the best pools for me in the resort.

This is just one of the restaurants that you can find at Dakak Park and Beach Resort. Too bad we weren't able to visit their Italian and Thai/Chinese Restaurants but maybe next time. XoXo!
