Army Navy Burger + Burrito, The Terraces, Ayala Center-Cebu City

Talking about serious, awesome burgers, Army Navy is on top of the list. It is known to offer its huge, mouth-watering burgers. However, it's not just their burger that highlights the entire establishment. The concept itself is so attractive and inviting. This military-themed restaurant has been around the city for quite sometime now. They have a branch in Cebu I.T. Park and The Terraces, Ayala Center Cebu.

I was surprised when one of my close friends, Rose, called me that she just arrived from the United Kingdom and will be in the city for just a couple of days. We decided to meet up for lunch and just grab something to munch while sharing stories after 5 years of being away from each other.

We agreed to meet at Ayala Center Cebu and went straight to Army Navy at The Terraces. I personally admire their interior wall graphics that includes the Quonset Hut design that made it really cool.

I wanted to try something different rather than ordering their usual burger because the last time I tried their burger triggered my hypertension and that made me decide not to eat it anymore. Instead, we ordered the following:

Starving Sailor (Thinly sliced rib-eye steak topped with JalapeƱo-Cheese spread, Green Bellpepper and Caramelized Onions in an 8-inch sourdough bread) - Php235.00
This kind of sandwich is ideal for those who are really hungry. I like the bun because it is so soft and not fluffy but the meat itself is not really impressive. It was like rubber but good thing the flavor was superb because of the combination of the bellpeppers and caramelized onions that blended well plus the cheese that balances everything. However, I did not finish the entire meal because it was way too large for me.

Querida Mia Charlie Bravo (Open-faced Quesadilla topped with cheese and bacon) - Php195.00
This is surprisingly delicious. It's like a pizza but with a distinct flavor. The cheese was the highlight plus the flavorful bacon. However, it was too oily that even my face became oily after eating it. LoL! This is a must-try!

LiberTea (Freshly-brewed iced tea) - R:Php65.00 L:Php75.00

I love this drink. This is one of the best iced teas I've ever tasted and I want you to try it to really know why this has become part of my list of favorites.

Here's a picture of us after eating before we left the barracks.

I'd definitely go back there and try their burritos in the future for my next post. Are you craving for a seriously large and juicy burger? Go and visit Army Navy Burger + Burritos and indulge yourself.
