Chedz Cakes' Lemon Meringue Premium Cupcakes

It is such an honor to be recognized and awarded because of something that you love to do. This is what happened to me when I published a post about Chedz Cakes of Cebu City. I became their July blogger of the month and one of the perks that I got aside from the bragging rights is a box of my choice of their premium cupcakes, classic cakes or heart cakes. I chose the cupcakes simply because I am a cupcake addict and I want to check how their cupcakes taste like. Of the seven flavors that they have, I ordered their Lemon Meringue Premium Cupcakes since they will only allow one flavor per box. I so love to eat cupcakes with lemon, lime or calamansi because of it's tangy flavor that explodes by the time it reaches my tongue and mouth.

Also, I am glad that I finally met one of the owners, Cecille Anne G. Corazo who was so nice, friendly and accommodating. She personally gave me the well-designed box of cupcakes in her office which is really a nice gesture.

Let's talk about the cupcake this time. Overall, I like it because it's not really sweet even if there is a meringue on top. The meringue was sprinkled with grated lemon peel and I guess candied lemon slice. It compliments each other's flavor. The cupcake itself is so soft and it's not fluffy. It's tangy and sweet at the same time. When you bite the cake, the lemon flavor kicks in and you can really smell it's lemon goodness down to the last bite.

      Lami gyud ni...They don't. You need to order per box gud. So when are you going to bring me sa Cupcake Avenue? Adto ta ron nah! :-)

    These look just perfect! love lemon flavored desserts too. I will eat that huge beehive icing on top first. :D
